If you want complete tranquility, head for here. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a member of the family. Great for walking, horse riding (although we did not, we wished we had). After a day either relaxing or doing an activity, you return to your cozy room where you can rest in comfort before your meal. The bell is rang for dinner, and what a feast, real home cooking in a stunning location.
Just wanted to let you both know how very much we enjoyed our two days at Ucross, July 28 and 29. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, food was delicious (Kudos to Chef Jim!), horseback ride was awesome (thanks Eric!), the Victorian room in the Ranch House was gorgeous, campfire and sing-along was fun, and the entire property is so lovely and well kept. It gives you a feeling of peace and tranquility just being there. We hated to leave on Saturday. Well, I did want to get back to my kitties to see how they were. They fared quite well with Helen and John "kitty - sitting." Thanks, Vickie, to you and Brenda for making us feel so welcome from the time we drove in till the time we had to say so long. Hope we'll be able to get back for another visit before the end of September.

Thank you for the outstanding support and flexibility you showed our group this week. Despite two bitterly cold days it was one of the best retreat experiences I've had as a Facilitator because you made everything go so smoothly. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and you were on top of everything: t's crossed and i's dotted. The food was good and healthy which this urban-ite has found to be rare in this part of Wyoming. And my porch room was charming!
